A Whole Lot of Back Tracking Going On!!!

We were hoping to start our blog back in September with the start of the school year. Unfortunately, I never got around to that. So..I'm going to be trying to post a bunch of posts from September up to now. Hopefully, I can get caught up quickly. :) I just wanted to explain why the dates are going to be a bit off. Here it is January and I'm going to end up posting things like pumpkin carving. :) Sorry. I will get caught up. :)

It's Our First Post!!! :)

Hello!!! Welcome to our family's blog! :) We have decided to start a blog to document our family's life. Time goes way too fast. We are realising this as 2 of our 7 children are already over the age of 18. :(  It is seriously surreal how fast they grow up. It just breaks my heart. Anyway, a dear family friend started a blog for her family many years ago. She told us how happy they are that they did that because it's such a nice way to document family life. She said when they look back at their blog, they find things that they had forgotten about. She encouraged our family to start a blog for that very reason. Oh how I want to remember the little things. When we look back, we realize that the little things really are the big things. (Now I'm crying...remembering our oldest in diapers, giving us those gummy smiles and lots of drooly baby kisses. I so miss having babies). :(

So....Here we are. I honestly don't really anticipate having many readers, other than maybe family and some friends. That's completely OK. :) We welcome anyone who is interested in reading. :)
